My OTP

You know, I claim not to have an OTP, and I'll stand by that in general. Sure, I like a lot of pairings of both persuasions, but there isn't one single perfect pairing out there for me. Except one. And since I'm capping images from last year's G.I. Joe movie tonight to amuse myself, well...yep. It's Snakes and Scarlett. The 2009 movie was amazingly inconsistent in its handling of this pair (and in only two hours, that's saying something), but there is one scene at the end that gets it right, like the homage I posted earlier tonight. And so, without further ado:

She calls.

He answers.

She waits.

They escape certain doom together.

As I said last year, they leave arm in arm, as it should be "for two people who are bonded in such a way as to make something so trivial as "love" seem cliche." I'll stand by that. Yep. I'll stand by that all the way to G.I. Joe #156, wherein Duke goes to collect Snakes AND Scarlett from the Sierra Nevada, just like Larry Hama said way back in 1994.

Yeah, they got this scene right, too. Very much so. Oh, and thanks for holding the door open, Breaker! Yo, Joe!
