Well Done, Young Man

Not every hero carries a gun or beats up bad guys. Sometimes, they're just in the right place at the right time, and they not only know how to swim, but they do.

This story was sent to me in an email. The type you usually delete. But I knew the source, so I opened it. I'm glad I did. The forward consisted of only fifteen pictures. Nothing more. But they are fabulous, and they tell a story worth telling. Click if you want to know that story. You might need a tissue. No more words are needed here.

You're welcome, and exactly. Silly and brave and wonderful.

I just realized I missed one pic. Added it now. (The young man splashing down into the water.)

Sorry for the earworm.

And exactly. It's "only" a dog, but if we don't care for those "beneath" us, then what exactly are we?

I just realized I missed one pic. Added it now. (The young man splashing down into the water.)
