Riker-Black and White
Yeah, we all know it's true Jonathan, but thanks for confirming!

This is my first post in celebration of the one and only Jonathan Frakes being scheduled for Dragon*Con 2010! *crosses fingers that it stays that way and thanks Eric profusely for getting Jonathan and Marina, who I haven't seen since my first Trek con, when I was a wee sixteen years of age!* WHEE! Also, well, I'm just frankly never going to pass up the chance to share some nice Galaxy Quest humor! Cuz, yeah... we totally all know it's true.

Gee, did you get a little excited, there, kiddo?

*big honkin grin*

There are actually quite a few Trek stars already listed, but you know things will change between now and then.

You going this year, then?

I haven't bought tickets but I do have a room!

Dragon*Con is always over Labor Day weekend - the first weekend in September. Google it!

I would recommend you join the Dragon*Con com here on LJ. Very helpful. And if you're serious about going, make a hotel reservation now. You can always turf it to a fellow fan in the D*C Rooms com later, but rooms can be hard to get, so think about it early!

thanks for the advice! the main problems are going to be finding someone to go/room with, how I'm going to get there and if I need to take a day off from school. The last one is important since it'll be my last semester before student teaching...

Well, you can find all that and more in the com. And on the Dragon*Con website. Like I said, just google it. I don't know where you are, but if you're local to Atlanta you could do just a one day pass or something. If you're not (I think you're in Illinois?), then you would likely need to make a weekend of it to justify going. Thus, two days off school.

To be honest, I know I couldn't have done it when still in school, but I know those that do. Best of luck to you!

He's also comfirmed at Phoenix Cactus Comicon May 27-30! Just happened to look up Phoenix today...
He and Scalzi are the 1st confined 'our-generation' type guests that I saw on there.
Wil's not listed yet....

I actually knew that. And no, Wil isn't listed, but he's said he's going on his blog. Who knows?

I'm still not sure on PCC. Probably a no-go, but we'll see.

almost as cool as the shatner/nimoy combo

I wouldn't say it approaches that in level of greatness, as Shatner-Nimoy is more rare, but it's more fun for me personally! Besides, I saw Shatner-Nimoy this year!
